About Us

On Stage Performing Arts, formerly OnStage YTS, was established in 2002 by Eve Redgrave providing classes in singing, dance and drama at our St.Ives and Histon venues. In 2013 we launched our Dance Branch and have not looked back since! As the school progressed Hannah Sharman took over the business in 2015 adding her vast skills and knowledge in all aspects of dance and performing arts.

Our Theatre Schools are held at Wyton on the Hill on Saturday mornings and Histon and Impington on Saturday afternoons.
Theatre students take part in an hour of drama, dance and singing whilst the Dance Branch students take part in ISTD modern and ballet classes along with Acro in the Acrobatic Arts syllabus and non-syllabus classes for children as well as adults.
“Our aim is to provide the students with a well rounded training in the performing arts whilst in a fun friendly environment. Our teaching methods are designed to build confidence in our pupils and we are always available to advise the students whatever the topic.”
Our passionate teaching team have been carefully selected for their experience in the performing and teaching worlds and hold either Imperial Society for the Teachers of Dance Teaching Qualifications, which is one of the worlds leading dance examination boards, a Diploma or BA Hons in Professional Musical Theatre which is also part of the reason we have remained a small company despite the interest we have received. With an excellent team who really enjoy working together and have no wish to let standards slide by expanding too much.

Our staff are fully DBS checked, hold a valid first aid certificate, trained in safeguarding as well as Covid 19 awareness. Members of our teaching team are also trained in mental health first aid, Level 4 SEN and basic BSL. Our child protection policy is available in the tabs at the bottom of the page and public liability insurances are also in place.
